Residing in Vancouver, Akash Murgai has been involved in multi-disciplinary teams for the past 4 years and has engaged in the planning, conception, design, and implementation of products, services, and systems that meet human needs and desire. He is dedicated to investigating the social, cultural, technological, and environmental factors that shape views on design and its ideology in the form of information visualization and speculative design.

His skill set reflects understanding of various interaction design paradigms; ranging from human-centered design process, rapid prototyping, visualization and navigation through information spaces, and collaborative design practices. Akash is highly motivated and able to adapt to new and diverse environments with ease in addition to being well coordinated in both graphic and experience design, with a focus on interdisciplinary design projects.

Currently, Akash is an active student at SIAT, Simon Fraser University's Surrey Campus and is looking towards pursuing a Masters' Application of study in the field of Interaction Design.
